Long Creek rewards simple plans: choose a rafting trip, a river swim, or a waterfall hike, then leave space for the weather, lunch, and a slower evening back at the house. Reedy Branch Falls is an easier stop, while Yellow Branch Falls and Long Creek Falls are better for guests ready to hike.
The Gauge Coffeehouse is a useful morning stop for coffee, bagels, river gear, and shuttle information. Humble Pie Pizza is next door for an easy meal after exploring. Chattooga Belle Farm adds orchard views, lunch, souvenirs, and distilled spirits close to the bunkhouse.
After the trails or the river, the house supports the slower part of the trip: dinner from the stocked kitchen, board games, the patio, the yard, the fire pit, and enough room for adults and kids to spread out.
